Sort Lines Online — 6 Modes
Our line sorter provides six powerful sorting algorithms to organize any list of text. Whether you need alphabetical sorting, numerical ordering, length-based sorting, or simply reversing a list, this tool handles it all instantly in your browser.
Sorting Modes
- A → Z (Alphabetical): Standard ascending alphabetical order. The default for most lists, menus, and dictionaries.
- Z → A (Reverse Alphabetical): Descending alphabetical order.
- 1 → 9 (Numeric Ascending): Sorts lines that start with numbers in ascending numerical order. Useful for numbered lists, data with IDs, or rankings.
- 9 → 1 (Numeric Descending): Sorts lines starting with numbers in descending order.
- By Length: Sorts lines from shortest to longest. Useful when you want to prioritize brief items or ensure consistent padding.
- Reverse Order: Simply flips the current order of lines — last line becomes first. Useful for reversing chronological logs or reading a list backwards.
